Owner

Sierra Cargill

Sierra Cargill is the owner of SCMC, where she brings a unique blend of background and expertise to the agricultural sector. Raised on a cow-calf operation and backgrounding yard in Isabel, Kansas, Sierra has a deep-rooted connection to the rural landscape. Her passion for agriculture propelled her to further her education, earning a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and a master’s degree from Arkansas Tech. Sierra’s commitment to the rural community goes beyond traditional practices; in an era dominated by digital advancements, she is dedicated to helping small rural businesses thrive in the competitive digital landscape. As our videographer with a Part 107 license and our strategist, Sierra combines her skills to drive innovative marketing and strategic initiatives.

Executive Account Manager

Justin Goodno

Meet Justin Goodno, our Executive Account Manager. Originally from Alex, Oklahoma, Justin brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the agriculture industry to his role. He attended Eastern Oklahoma State College and graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Justin spent much of his professional career in government regulations (USDA, FDA, and KDA), followed by five years at K-State Research and Extension.

In addition to his regulatory work, Justin is a stockman and has worked as a freelance writer, contributing articles and content to various agriculture and western lifestyle publications and websites. This dual expertise in agriculture and writing has enabled him to effectively communicate complex agricultural topics to a wide audience.

Director of Marketing

Jacy Rose

Jacy Rose recently graduated from Kansas State University with a dual degree in Agricultural Communications & Journalism and Animal Sciences & Industry on joined our team full time! 
Growing up in Scott City, KS, Jacy developed a deep-rooted passion for agriculture while working on her family’s stocker/background and feed grain operation.  Jacy’s involvement in her county’s 4H program further fueled her dedication to agriculture, where she explored projects such as photography, beef, and swine. Today, she’s excited to use her skills and experiences to help share the unique stories of farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses. When she’s not in the office, Jacy channels her creativity into her leather business, JRLeatherworks, crafting custom pieces for her customers.

Marketing Coordinator

Sarah Sowell

Sarah recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Agricultural Communications and has joined our team as a Marketing Coordinator. Growing up in a small rural town in Georgia, she developed a deep appreciation for agriculture early on, and her involvement in FFA solidified her decision to pursue a career in the industry. In her role, she enjoys creating engaging content and implementing innovative strategies that not only showcase the work of agricultural producers and businesses but also foster stronger connections within the agricultural community. Now based in Virginia, Sarah spends her time outside of this job caring for and working with horses, staying rooted in the agricultural lifestyle she loves.

Marketing Coordinator

Shalani May

Shalani grew up on her family’s cow-calf operation in Eastern Idaho, where her passion for agriculture first took root. She earned an Associate’s degree in Animal Science from the College of Southern Idaho and later completed her Bachelor’s in Operations Management; Shalani also holds a Part 107 license.
 
In August 2025, she joined the SCMC team, where she specializes in helping clients bring their marketing vision to life through social media management and paid advertising strategies. A proud Idaho resident, Shalani enjoys camping, hiking, and supporting her family’s ranch.

Sales Representative

Kennedy Holstein

Kennedy Holstein is a senior at Kansas State University, pursuing a degree in Animal Sciences & Industry with a minor in Agricultural Sales. Growing up on her family’s feeder-stocker and grain operation near Leoti, KS, Kennedy developed a strong passion for agriculture and the feedlot industry.

​

Her experiences on the operation shaped her desire to be involved in animal agriculture, and she’s carried that dedication with her to K-State. Outside of school and work, Kennedy enjoys riding horses, lending a hand on her family’s operation, traveling, and participating in several student organizations on campus.
